Civils Highways Foreman required to join leading civil engineering contractor on highways projects in the Newbury area.
Responsibilities:
- The Civils Foreman will be working with the senior site team managing guys on site, ensuring delivery of the project on time and budget.
- Developing relationships with clients, consultants and site personnel.
- Ensuring health and safety is enforced and all works are completed safely.
Qualifications:
- The Civils Foreman would come from a civil engineering background ideally with highways experience or civil engineering working on projects covering highways, roads, groundworks, RC works, earthworks, deep drainage, externals and heavy civils.
- Foreman with marine / sea defence / flood defence would be an advantage.
- The Civils Foreman will ideally have a relevant construction degree HNC or HND with SSSTS / SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid and previous civil engineering project experience.
