Assistant Estimator Duties
- Supporting the preparation of accurate, competitive tenders for groundworks and civils packages
- Carrying out take offs, measurement and pricing with guidance from senior members
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documents
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to gather and assess quotations
- Helping produce clear, well presented tender submissions
- Playing an active role in the bid process and wider pre construction team
Assistant Estimator Requirements
- At least 2 years experience as an estimator or assistant estimator within groundworks
- Understanding of foundations, drainage, externals and general groundworks processes
- Confident interpreting drawings and technical documents
