The role defines the operating model our Business needs before long-term estate, partner or technology decisions are made, bringing together warehousing, fulfilment, staging and configuration, returns, customer, security, estate and Unity dependencies. /p p br /p p strong Key accountabilities of the role /strong /p ul li Lead the Future Stores Fulfilment Operating Model review and define requirements, principles, options and recommendations. /li li Baseline warehousing, fulfilment, staging, configuration, returns and refurbishment activity, including volumes, cost, service and risk. /li li Identify customer, programme, security and resilience requirements. /li li Assess internal, partner and hybrid options using operational, financial, customer, risk and implementation criteria. /li li Translate the preferred model into clear Unity and technology requirements. /li li Develop the decision, procurement, mobilisation, transition and implementation roadmap. /li li Coordinate Property, Digital, Security, Procurement, Finance, Operations, Group and partner input. /li li Identify near-term improvements that can proceed without limiting future options. /li /ul p br /p p strong Key decisions you will own /strong /p ul li Define the evidence and criteria required for the operating model decision. /li li Recommend the preferred Stores Fulfilment option through governance. /li li Set future requirements for warehousing, fulfilment, staging, configuration, returns and refurbishment. /li li Decide which near-term improvements can proceed without constraining future options. /li /ul p br /p p strong Key skills and experience /strong /p p strong Essential /strong /p ul li Significant warehousing, fulfilment, logistics strategy or operating model experience. /li li Strong current-state assessment, option design and business case capability. /li li Understanding of warehouse operations, staging, returns and partner models. /li li Ability to turn complex operational, estate and technology requirements into decisions and a roadmap. /li li Commercial, financial, programme and risk management skills. /li /ul p strong Desirable /strong /p ul li Experience of warehouse systems or major technology dependencies. /li li Experience evaluating outsourced or hybrid models and multi-site transitions. /li /ul p br /p
