Role Summary
The Research Technician – Method Development is responsible for delivering results in developing and evaluating next-gen chromatography media. This position reports to the Manager, Analytical Methods, and is part of the Fibro R&D department located in Stevenage and will be an on-site role.
Key accountabilities of the role
- Support the design, execution, and documentation of method optimisation experiments for analytical methods related to membrane chromatography products.
- Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing, ensuring accurate and reliable data generation.
- Prepare clear, concise reports and maintain proper documentation of experimental results.
- Provide support to ensure laboratory compliance to Environment Health & Safety regulations.
- Collaborate with scientists to support development activities in monoclonal antibody purification workflows.
Key skills and experience
- You will have a Master’s degree in a bioscience-based subject.
- You will have at least 1 year of experience using AKTA systems.
- You will have experience working in a regulated lab.
Desirable experience
- Preparing presentations and written reports to support decision-making in multifaceted projects.
- Working in cross-disciplinary teams.
- Use of SEC-HPLC or ProA-HPLC.
- Familiar with Analytical Method Development.
