The role focuses on defining scalable, reusable architectural patterns and working directly with engineering teams to build secure, reliable, and operable services that accelerate integration delivery across the portfolio.
This is a hands‑on architecture role, embedded within a Dev Ops model, combining design authority with active contribution to delivery.
Key responsibilities Define and evolve architecture for cloud‑native, microservice‑based solutions across the Integration Portfolio.
Establish and promote reusable patterns for: API and event‑driven integration Microservices design and decomposition CI/CD and Dev Ops pipelines Observability, monitoring, and operational readiness Work directly with engineering teams to design, build, and deploy services on cloud platforms.
Ensure solutions meet non‑functional requirements including scalability, resilience, performance, and security.
Provide technical leadership to resolve complex delivery challenges across multiple teams and services.
Drive consistency and reuse across delivery groups, reducing duplication of patterns and approaches.
Define and maintain architecture artefacts, standards, and decision records.
Support transition to live service, including operational models, supportability, and handover.
Focus areas Designing solutions that are cloud‑native by default.
Driving adoption of API‑first and event‑driven architectures.
Embedding Dev Ops and automation across build, test, and deployment.
Enabling multi‑team delivery through standard patterns and shared services.
Balancing speed of delivery with operability, security, and governance.
Experience as a Software or Technical Architect in modern, cloud‑native environments.
