Role purpose / summary: Our client is looking for an experienced Enterprise Storage Engineer with recent experience of design/configuration of at least two or more of the following Dell Storage platforms.
- Key Skills/requirements
- Storage Role:
- Dell PowerStore
- Dell Unity
- Dell PowerScale or Isilon
- Dell ECS
- Experience of configuring Dell (Cisco SAN fabrics).
- Preferably experience of writing low level storage design or configuration documentation.
- Backup Role:
- Experienced Enterprise Backup Engineer with recent experience of design/configuration of NetBackup Software solutions.
- Preferably up to NetBackup version 10.x
- Experience of Veritas NetBackup Appliances is desirable (although if candidate has Data Domain experience, then these skills can be transferable).
- Preferably experience or knowledge of Veritas Access platform (or another object storage platform used long term backups).
- Preferably experience of writing low level backup designs or configuration documentation.
- Desirable to have some exposure to Azure backup and Hybrid backup architectures using NetBackup.
