The location of the role is remote (occasional site visits in London, must be UK based) .

The pay rate on offer is £700 - £736 per day (via Umbrella) .

The duration of the contract is 4 months .

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.2.6 Functional Consultant with in-depth knowledge of Fixed Assets modules. The successful candidate will support and enhance Oracle Financials processes, ensuring alignment with business needs and best practices.

Key accountabilities of the role:

  • Lead the functional design, configuration, and deployment of Oracle EBS 12.2.6 modules: Fixed Assets.
  • Provide support for month-end and year-end close activities.
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to Fixed assets, and intercompany transactions.
  • Help to develop and support the execution of test scripts for unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Collaborate with technical teams to support customisations, interfaces, data migrations and reporting requirements.

Key skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ hands-on experience with Oracle EBS Financials, specifically R12.2.6.
  • Strong functional expertise in: Fixed Assets (min 10 years of experience ) - setting up and configuring the Fixed Assets module, including asset categories, depreciation rules, and tax books
  • Strong understanding of asset lifecycle processes: acquisition, capitalization, depreciation, impairment, and retirement.
  • Experience with mass additions, asset transfers, asset books, and reporting tools (e.g., FA Register, FA Additions Report).
  • Ability to produce high-quality functional design documentation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
