Early Professional – NFR Tester (Quality Engineer – Test Quality) London / Hybrid BPSS clearance required. The ideal candidate will have active SC Clearance or be eligible to undergo SC Clearance.
We are actively looking to secure an Early Professional NFR Tester to join Experis. Experis Consultancy is a Global entity with a well-established team with over 1000 consultants on assignment across 20 clients globally. Job Purpose/The Role: This role sits within HMRC’s high-profile customs transformation programme, supporting the testing and enhancement of a critical UK central customs application. As an NFR (Non-Functional Requirements) Tester, you will join an experienced delivery team and work closely with business analysts and technical teams to understand requirements, define test scenarios, and execute performance and quality testing activities.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Support non-functional and performance testing activities across the application
- Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand requirements
- Define and execute test scenarios and test cases
- Contribute to test planning, execution, and reporting
- Work within agile teams to ensure quality standards are met
- Support continuous improvement of testing frameworks and processes
Your Skills:
- UK Citizen with minimum 5 years UK residency (essential)
- Must be currently based in the UK
- Experience or knowledge of performance testing
- Familiarity with Cucumber, Java, JIRA, and Confluence
- Understanding of testing methodologies and tools
- Experience with JMeter
- Exposure to AWS tooling or cloud environments
