Role Overview

The IT Service Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting global network functions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to end users across the organisation. This position is focused on managing operational (“Run”) and project-related costs for network services, while assisting in the development of financial plans for an evolving, globally integrated service landscape. The role requires a strong balance of stakeholder engagement, cost management, and coordination across technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Vendor Manager and technical teams to gather and analyse requirements related to network services.
  • Translate requirements into financial forecasts and communicate them to business units, ensuring transparency in budgeting, forecasting, and vendor-related payments.
  • Support the financial planning process for ongoing services and new technical solutions.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through vendor consolidation and contract optimisation to reduce operational costs.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across approximately 28 affiliate organisations to support financial forecasting, address service-related queries, and ensure vendor requirements are met.
  • Partner with Network Service Operations and Engineering teams to support service planning and evaluate vendor solutions.
  • Provide feedback on vendor performance and contribute to decision-making to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Initiate and coordinate new projects, working with internal customers to ensure smooth delivery and adherence to key processes.
  • Manage vendor-commercial operations across existing and newly integrated companies, aligning vendor strategies with organisational objectives and ensuring consistent service standards across the global network.

Qualifications

Ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage budgets, coordinate across multiple teams, and build lasting professional relationships. Familiarity with IT services, vendor management, or financial processes is advantageous. Comprehensive training will be provided to support development in these areas.
