Our client is a growing Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Consultancy within a sustainability-focused engineering group delivering specialist services in geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering, soil health, and material management across the UK. Their team of engineers and scientists takes an innovative approach to ground risk, sustainability, and carbon reduction, offering solutions that go beyond traditional strength and remediation to consider soil health, biodiversity, and material reuse. By combining technical expertise with collaborative thinking, they help optimise ground conditions and manage risk effectively throughout the built environment.

They are seeking a Graduate Geotechnical/Geoenvironmental Engineer for their team working across site investigation, ground modelling, reporting, and environmental assessment projects in London and the South East. You will gain broad technical exposure, working collaboratively across disciplines, and develop skills spanning both geo-environmental and geotechnical scopes.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake site investigation works (supervision, logging, sampling)
  • Support ground model development
  • Assist with Geo-environmental assessments and Geotechnical data interpretation
  • Contribute to factual and interpretative reporting
  • Work collaboratively with engineers across disciplines
  • Develop skills across both geo-environmental and geotechnical scopes

Requirements

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering Geology, Geology, Geotechnical / Geo-environmental Engineering, or similar
  • Willingness to work on site and in the office
  • Strong desire to learn and broaden technical capability
  • Good communication and team-working skills
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Full driving licence

Desirable:

  • 0–2 years relevant consultancy background
  • Exposure to site investigation or groundworks
  • Basic reporting track record
