We are working with a fast-growing fixed income hedge fund who are looking to hire a junior repo trader to their evolving team in London. There is subtle buzz about the firm and it’s fair to say that they have a definitive “start-up” feel to them. This is a good opportunity for someone keen to take on more responsibility and to operate with a certain level of autonomy.

In this role, you’ll be working as part of a highly lean team and working directly with C-suite. Therefore, the role lends itself to a full-lifecycle repo position where you are supporting the funding book and contributing directly to the daily PnL. You’ll be executing daily flow across short-term funding and liquidity markets. In addition to this, you’ll be optimising funding efficiency while improving processes and handling strategic and ad hoc workflow needs. You’ll work closely to a wide array of stakeholders across the front office.

Qualifications
  • 1-3 years’ experience with treasury, fixed income financing, or fixed income repo in either a hedge fund or top tier bank.
  • Commercial experience handling daily funding flows and short-term financing activities (G10 focus).
  • Excellent analytical skills. Commercial Python experience a big plus.
  • Ability to operate and communicate effectively within a highly time-sensitive environment.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.

Due to demand, we are advertising this role anonymously. If you would prefer to speak to someone before submitting a CV, please send a blank application to the role and someone will be in touch to discuss.
