Role Summary

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Merchandising Admin Assistant to support a busy merchandising team within a fast-paced retail environment. The successful candidate will support day-to-day merchandising operations across retail and online channels, helping to ensure accurate reporting, effective administration, and smooth coordination across the team. This role would suit someone with strong Excel skills, excellent attention to detail, and previous experience within retail administration or merchandising support.

Key accountabilities of the role

  • Support the merchandising team with data analysis, reporting, and system input.
  • Assist with retail and .com trading administration and attend relevant team meetings.
  • Carry out online product checks and attend site walks where required.
  • Raise and amend purchase orders accurately and within agreed timelines.
  • Maintain and update range planners and merchandising systems.
  • Pull, distribute, and maintain regular reports for the wider team.
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure efficient day-to-day team operations.
  • Build effective working relationships across merchandising and wider business teams.

Key skills and experience

  • Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and data manipulation.
  • Previous experience as a Merchandising Admin Assistant or within a retail administration/support role preferred.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and interpretive skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
