A leading global asset manager is seeking a High Yield Credit Research Analyst to join its established Global Credit investment team. This is an excellent opportunity for an intellectually curious and commercially minded investment professional to contribute directly to investment decision-making within a collaborative, high-performing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and analysing investment opportunities across the global high yield universe, providing differentiated research and high-conviction recommendations to portfolio managers. Primary duties; Conduct in-depth fundamental credit research on high yield issuers within assigned sectors, assessing business quality, capital structures, industry dynamics and relative value opportunities Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support investment analysis and valuation work Generate actionable investment ideas and present recommendations to portfolio managers and investment committees. Collaborate closely with portfolio managers on portfolio positioning, risk assessment and portfolio construction decisions. Monitor existing holdings and prospective investments, evaluating company developments, earnings releases, market events and sector trends Produce clear, concise written research and communicate investment views effectively to stakeholders across the investment platform. Contribute to broader research initiatives and support the ongoing enhancement of research processes and investment frameworks Experience and attributes required; ~5-10 years of relevant buy-side or sell-side credit research experience, with significant exposure to high yield issuers ~ Strong fundamental credit analysis and financial modelling capabilities ~ Excellent academic credentials, ideally with a degree in a quantitative, financial or analytical discipline ~ Demonstrated ability to develop independent investment views and make well-supported recommendations. ~ Strong analytical and numerical skills, with exceptional attention to detail. ~ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to present investment ideas to senior investment professionals ~ Self-motivated, proactive and intellectually curious, with a genuine passion for credit markets and investing ~ Collaborative team player who thrives in a collegiate and performance-oriented culture
