The Research Associate is responsible for performing antibody conjugation to various labels and subsequent purification using established protocols, and supporting the development of new protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Learn and perform antibody conjugations using advanced technologies and assist in evaluating product quality using techniques such as HPLC, FPLC (AKTA), and spectroscopy.
- Support the evaluation and development of new antibody labelling reagents and conjugation methods.
- Prepare buffers and reagents, contribute to lab housekeeping, and ensure accurate documentation in line with SOPs and ISO9001:2015 standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members, contribute to process improvements, and support cross‑functional coordination for downstream activities.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Biology, Chemistry or Biochemistry.
- Awareness and understanding of technical principles, literature, and methodologies in protein conjugation chemistry and protein labelling reagents.
- Quality control methods such as ELISA, SDS-PAGE, Western Blot (WB), and imaging applications.
- Excellent attention to detail, with relevant experience of working in a lab environment; demonstrates a flexible mindset and ability to adapt to shifting priorities and customer demands.
