Buyer – Aviation industry

The location of the role is Gloucester (hybrid working – remote also an option).

The duration of the contract is 6 weeks initially.

The pay rate on offer is £50 – £57 per hour (via Umbrella agency).

Key accountabilities of the role

Sourcing activities (full source to pay cycle) for new product introduction project work. Area of focus is New Technologies.
Request for Quote (RFQ) requests, onboarding new suppliers to ERP system, issuing POs, expediting parts for delivery, payment of suppliers in timely manner etc.
Focus mostly on indirect procurement.
Expectation to be helping mainly with transactional admin activities.

Key skills and experience

Experience working within Buying / Sourcing
Experienced with transactional phase of buying
Aviation industry experience nice to have, but not essential
Excellent communication – ability to build relationships with suppliers and customer
Dynamic individual
