They are seeking a Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant for their expanding Bolton team, which undertakes a broad and diverse range of geo‐environmental, geological, and geotechnical projects across all of the company's key sectors. Responsibilities- Deliver projects to a high technical and quality standard
- Mentor and support junior team members
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the team
- Collaborate closely with senior colleagues and technical specialists across disciplines
- Design and manage ground investigations and monitoring programmes
- Prepare interpretative reports, including Preliminary Risk Assessments and Geo‐Environmental and Geotechnical Assessments
- Develop and produce Remediation Strategies
- Supervise and validate remedial works on-site
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and best practices
- BSc in Geology, Engineering Geology, Environmental Science or similar – MSc advantageous but not essential
- Chartered or working towards chartership through a professional institution
- Track record of designing, supervising and managing Geo‐Environmental site investigations
- Background in land contamination assessment – soil, water, ground gas and DQRA
- Knowledge of relevant UK contaminated land and relevant planning legislation and guidelines
- Soil/Rock logging to BS5930
- Background of contributing to remedial options appraisals, remedial designs, remedial specifications, and validation reports – commensurate with the role and track record
- Background preparing fee proposals for Geo‐Environmental projects
- Excellent project management skills
- Full UK driving licence.
