Our defence client is currently searching for a Technical Stores Person to join their team in Boscombe Down.

Within this role you would be responsible for providing clothing stores and logistics support to military flying operations, activities and projects at Boscombe Down.

Delivering an efficient clothing issue service to tri service military personnel while maintaining high standards of customer service and confidentiality.

Maintain stock accuracy, traceability and compliance with military logistics procedures.

Issue military clothing and equipment to customers and maintain accurate records.

Assist with uniform measuring, fitting and tailoring activities to ensure clothing is fit for purpose.

Maintain stock control and inventory accuracy using logistics management systems.

Store, segregate and preserve stock in accordance with quality and compliance requirements.

Pick, pack, despatch and deliver items to meet operational and customer deadlines.

Support warehouse operations including loading and unloading deliveries.

Operate forklift equipment where qualified.

Maintain safe, clean and compliant warehousing facilities.

Support site logistics activities, including escorting visitors and delivery personnel as required.

Experience in stores, warehousing, logistics or supply chain operations.

Good understanding of stock control, inventory management and warehouse processes.

Familiarity with MJDI or similar inventory management systems is desirable.

Competent in Microsoft Office applications.

Forklift licence desirable but not essential.
