Job Description

We are hiring our first Senior Product Analyst for the Decision Platform team, a B2B enterprise software suite for insurers.

The role leads product analytics and strategic insight across the Decision Platform product suite, helping to understand product performance, business performance, customer health, and market opportunities.

The analyst identifies metrics, builds evidence for product decisions, uncovers improvement opportunities, and recommends actions to enhance customer value, product performance, and commercial outcomes.

This is not a reporting‑only role; it requires independent analysis, roadmap shaping, and cross‑functional collaboration.

  • What Success Looks Like
  • Decision Platform has clear product, customer, operational, and commercial metrics that inform decision‑making.
  • Product teams consistently use data and insight to prioritize roadmaps, evaluate outcomes, and improve customer value.
  • Leadership has visibility of Decision Platform performance through effective dashboards, scorecards, and strategic reporting.
  • Customer opportunities, adoption risks, and market trends are proactively identified and translated into recommendations and action.
  • Product analytics practices, instrumentation, and reporting capabilities mature and scale alongside the product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own product analytics across Decision Platform products by defining meaningful metrics across Rules Engine, Decision Studio, AI Engine, and cross‑product workflows.
  • Proactively identify opportunities by analysing product data and user journeys, delivering actionable recommendations that influence roadmap, proposition, UX, engagement, retention, and performance.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Design to shape discovery, define success measures, evaluate experiments, and assess feature impact.
  • Work with Engineering and Data teams to improve instrumentation, data quality, event capture, and data access.
  • Segment customers, users, and behaviours to understand differences by region, insurer, proposition, workflow, maturity, and product adoption pattern.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting for product teams, leadership, and business stakeholders, linking strategic objectives and OKRs to product, customer, operational, and commercial performance.
  • Support product strategy and business cases with evidence‑based analysis, including opportunity sizing, trend analysis, adoption analysis, and outcome modelling.
  • Help assess analytics, insight‑generation, and recommendation opportunities within the product, including how these capabilities could create customer value.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders, turning complex analysis into simple, persuasive narratives and practical next steps.
  • Create customer and market intelligence views by combining product analytics, customer feedback, discovery insights, commercial context, product marketing research, and market intelligence.
  • Monitor competitor, industry, and market trends to provide context for product performance, customer expectations, and strategic decision‑making.
  • Support portfolio‑level decision making by helping leadership understand product, customer, commercial, and market performance through insight‑led reporting and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s or other advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Product Analyst, Senior Product Analyst, or similar role in a digital product, B2B Saa S, enterprise software, platform, or workflow product environment, ideally across multiple products, regions, customer segments, or market contexts.
  • Strong product sense and commercial judgement, with a track record of delivering actionable insights that influenced roadmap decisions, product performance, customer outcomes, or business results.
  • Strong product analytics skills including metrics design, funnel analysis, cohort analysis, segmentation, behavioural analysis, feature performance assessment, customer journey analysis, experimentation, forecasting, predictive modelling, causal inference, or other advanced analytical techniques.
  • Experience with product analytics, engagement, BI, and visualisation tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, Customer. io, Apps Flyer, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent.
  • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills, with the ability to perform robust ad‑hoc analysis and interrogate data independently.
  • Experience helping to set up, mature, or significantly improve product analytics practices, including metrics frameworks, instrumentation, dashboards, governance, or ways of working.
  • Highly autonomous and comfortable operating in ambiguity, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience conducting or supporting competitive analysis, market benchmarking, or industry research to inform product strategy and investment decisions.
  • Why Join Us
  • Foundational role: you will be the first Product Analyst in this part of the business and will shape how product analytics is done in Decision Platform.
  • High impact: your work will directly influence product direction across a strategic product suite.
  • Interesting problem space: you will work on products that combine automation, AI, data, and complex insurer workflows.
  • Cross‑functional influence: partner with senior stakeholders across Product, Design, Engineering, Data, and the wider business.
  • Strong growth opportunity: this is a chance to define a function, raise the bar, and have visible impact in a scaling business backed by a strong parent company.

Benefits (Permanent and Fixed‑Term Employees)
