Responsibilities
- Design, develop and support key data pipelines, products and services that power analytics, AI, and customer-facing features.
- Work with key business domains to understand their requirements; extracting and modeling data to match these requirements.
- Draw upon broader industry techniques to data management and implement them proactively.
- Design, implement and optimise large-scale data management solutions, balancing cost and efficiency.
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance or data quality issues, ensuring well-modeled data that consistently meets data quality benchmarks.
- Communicate technical concepts and designs to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactively contribute to the team roadmap, defining tasks in sometimes ambiguous circumstances and producing outcome-focused deliverables with demonstrable impact.
- Coach and develop those around you, helping to raise the bar across the team and spread influence across broader teams.

- Experience with DataOps methods and data quality improvement techniques.
- Experience with agile methodologies and continuous delivery.
- Proficiency with continuous integration pipelines and technologies.
- Proficiency with DevOps concepts and tooling (Terraform, Kubernetes, etc.).
- Proficiency with cloud services (ideally AWS).
- Proficiency with data modeling tools and techniques (dbt).
- Experience with large-scale data processing (Spark, Hadoop, Pig, etc.).
- Proficiency with structured or custom ETL/ELT management (Airflow, Dagster, etc.).
- Experience or proven interest in AI/MLOps technologies.
- Proficiency with SQL databases (Relational, Snowflake, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills.
