We are looking for a highly motivated Lead Product Manager to lead the strategy and evolution of our flagship component of Decision Platform: a suite of products to support Automated Decisioning across multiple Underwriting and Claims use cases. Automated Decisioning is a critical pillar of Decision Platform's vision to empower insurers to drive better, faster decisions throughout their business across Underwriting & Claims. It includes our flagship product the Underwriting Engine, as well as newer components Decision Studio (Orchestration & Data Sourcing), Claims Engine and Analytics – with several further evolutions planned to disrupt the current workflows and value chain using AI.

This is a global role; you will work across multiple regions, supporting regional go-to-market strategies while prioritising one global engineering team. You'll need a sharp strategic mindset to evaluate trade-offs between local value and global scalability. Your decisions will help define what gets built, when, and why.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product strategy development and execution for the UMe Automated Decisioning portfolio – ensuring alignment with UMe's broader platform vision, customer needs, and regulatory dynamics across markets.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our customers' needs and preferences to inform product development decisions and prioritise roadmap for the product line.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and risks for our business.
  • Prioritise work across multiple products and geographies, balancing diverse regulatory environments, and commercial opportunities.
  • Align feature development with business goals.
  • Ensure clear communication of priorities, value, and trade-offs to internal stakeholders, and to external partners or clients when relevant to implementation, delivery, or roadmap alignment.
  • Define OKRs and KPIs with your teams to continuously improve and drive growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop product managers.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate delivery of product initiatives and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Be the internal voice for the Automated Decisioning product suite, ensuring product progress and priorities are well understood by leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Commercial, Customer Success, Designers, Data, Engineering, and other PMs) to build a unified, scalable roadmap.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Commercial teams to articulate the value of your product portfolio and support go-to-market success.
  • Define product discovery frameworks, business cases and decision documents for your product line.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical or business discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years in product management, with exposure to AI products.
  • Experience with B2B enterprise software products; domain knowledge in insurance or health-tech is a bonus.
  • Proven track record of building and growing successful platform or infrastructure products in multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills: you can quantify trade-offs and prioritise under ambiguity.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills: you can align diverse teams around a shared product vision, balancing differing perspectives with empathy, clarity, and conviction.
  • Bonus: Experience working across international markets simultaneously, and navigating regional business and regulatory nuances.

Why Join Us

  • Be a key player in shaping a globally scalable product critical to UnderwriteMe's commercial strategy.
  • Work on an impactful area where your decisions directly influence market success and customer adoption.
  • Join a collaborative, cross-functional team with a strong learning culture.
  • Competitive salary and benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and flexible work arrangements.
  • Opportunity to grow in a high-impact Lead PM role within a scaling business backed by a strong parent company.
