We're looking for a Microsoft Fabric Architect to lead a greenfield data platform build within a growing organisation looking to modernise its data estate. You'll take ownership of the end-to-end architecture, designing and delivering a scalable Lakehouse solution using Microsoft Fabric. This role requires someone who can operate hands-on while also setting direction, standards and best practices across the platform. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll shape the roadmap and drive the solution through to production.
Key Experience Required
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
- Experience building end-to-end Lakehouse solutions
- Good data modelling skills (e.g. star schema)
- Experience using PySpark or Spark SQL
- Building data pipelines from APIs, ERP or SaaS systems
- Working with Fabric pipelines, notebooks and Dataflows
- Understanding of data governance and security
- Able to work independently and lead delivery
Bonus Points
- Experience with Databricks or Azure Synapse
- Power BI modelling and DAX
- Experience building platforms from scratch
- Experience working in organisations with limited existing data structure
