Overview
Senior Agile Scrum Master (Energy Sector) — Contract
Location: Remote (occasional travel to Newcastle). Start Date: ASAP. Contract Length: 6–12 Months (likely to extend).
We’re looking for a highly experienced Senior Scrum Master to lead Phase 4 of a major Energy sector programme. This phase focuses on delivering a high-performance system processing millions of data points, working with a globally distributed, senior-level team, and driving results under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Lead Phase 4 of a major energy sector programme, delivering a high-performance system processing millions of data points.
- Coordinate with a globally distributed, senior-level team and drive results under tight deadlines.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, ensure timely delivery, and remove blockers to maintain velocity.
Key Experience Required
- Proven track record delivering complex software projects as a Scrum Master
- Expertise with Azure DevOps for backlog management, reporting, and delivery tracking
- Experience leading distributed teams in high-pressure environments
- Strong risk, dependency, and constraint management skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
- Understanding of performance/volume testing for scalable solutions
