IT Programme Manager (Contract)

Contract Length: 6 Months (likely to extend)

Location: Hybrid – Hertfordshire

Day Rate: £800 – £1100 Inside IR35

Start Date: ASAP

We’re seeking an experienced IT Programme Manager to lead complex IT transition and transformation programmes, with a strong focus on acquisitions. You’ll be embedded in a high-growth organisation delivering strategic IT change across enterprise systems such as Oracle ERP, Salesforce, and Microsoft platforms.

You’ll work closely with project leads, senior stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless delivery and alignment across business-critical workstreams.

Key Experience Required

  • Proven experience managing end-to-end IT transition/transformation programmes
  • Strong background in M&A integration projects
  • Comfortable managing multiple workstreams and coordinating cross-functional teams
  • Deep understanding of enterprise IT platforms – Oracle, Salesforce, Microsoft
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong grasp of risk, budget, and vendor management
  • Proficient in programme governance, reporting, and PMO methodologies

Bonus Points

  • MSP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, or equivalent qualifications
  • Familiarity with hybrid delivery models and managing offshore teams
  • Financial acumen and experience with budgeting large-scale IT programmes
