I’m looking for a AWS Cloud Platform Architect to support the design and delivery of a new cloud-first platform for a major media and entertainment organisation.
The project is focused on moving highly performance-sensitive professional workloads into AWS, with users needing to access powerful cloud-based workstations remotely without compromising performance or latency.
The two key requirements for this role are: AWS Networking + Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
Key Experience Needed
- Strong hands-on AWS architecture experience
- Excellent AWS networking knowledge
- VPC architecture and routing
- AWS Direct Connect
- Transit Gateway
- Hybrid / remote connectivity
- Amazon WorkSpaces, NICE DCV, Teradici, HP Anyware, Citrix or similar
- Experience designing secure and performant remote-working environments
- Strong architecture/design experience – HLD / LLD
Highly Desirable
- GPU-backed cloud workstations
- High-throughput AWS storage
- Media, broadcast or post-production experience
- AWS security / IAM knowledge
You’ll be working alongside experienced architects and engineers, taking complex user and application requirements and translating them into secure, scalable and high-performing AWS infrastructure.
The wider platform covers networking, storage, compute, identity, security and cost optimisation, with performance being a critical part of the project.
