We’re a high-calibre climate tech startup on a mission to decarbonise the grid. Backed by top-tier VCs and founded by ex-traders and quants, we’re building the real-time infrastructure that optimises energy flows across markets. Now, we’re hiring a Data Scientist to design, build, and deploy live forecasting models that will help reshape the energy system.
The Opportunity
- Solve complex forecasting problems using high-frequency, noisy datasets
- Work directly with traders, engineers, and market experts to deliver models into production
- Shape both product direction and strategy in a mission-led, fast-paced environment
- Earn competitive compensation with meaningful equity in a high-growth startup
What We’re Looking For
- Exceptional academic background (Maths, Physics, Engineering, or CS) from Oxbridge, Imperial, or top global equivalents
- Hands-on experience in time-series analysis, forecasting, or signal processing
- Strong coding ability (Python) with clean, production-ready practices
- A systems-level thinker who combines technical depth with commercial awareness
- (Bonus) Exposure to energy markets, trading, or large-scale optimisation problems
If you’re a data scientist with a top-tier quantitative background who thrives in high-bar environments (startups, big tech, finance) and wants to drive impact on the energy transition, we should talk.
