Senior Rust Engineer – Cybersecurity

Up to £110k | Full Remote

Cybersecurity is one of the biggest risks facing businesses in the digital age, with the legal and reputational risks associated with an attack making it ever important to have robust protection in place.

We are helping to stamp out security risks by enabling data-in-use encryption that safeguards data, even in the event of an attack/leak.

For financial services businesses in particular, our technology provides protection against the regulatory risks attached to leaks, especially where non-compliance can lead to legal action.

To support with the development and maintenance of the cutting-edge systems needed to make its technology possible, our client is hiring Senior Rust Engineers.

Core competencies:

• Proven commercial experience with Rust (2 years minimum)
• Building in a Greenfield environment, developing Rust code from scratch
• System design and Architecture development exposure
• Experience using GitHub/Jira/Docker/CI & CT test automation
• Database experience – SQL (DB MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle or MS SQL)

Core job responsibilities:

• Innovate and develop highly available and efficient security products with inbuilt reliability and security
• Develop, implement and maintain features (software development and web applications)
• Troubleshoot and upgrade software across multiple levels
• Some Frontend, Testing and Devops responsibilities
