I'm currently working with a well-known national charity looking to hire an Interim Senior Data Manager to provide leadership and stability to their Data Insights function during a period of organisational change. This role will sit at the centre of a small but highly impactful data team, bridging the gap between Data Operations, Data Insights, and key stakeholders across the organisation.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in leading the team, maintaining momentum across ongoing data initiatives, and helping shape the future direction of the function. The role would suit an experienced Data Manager, Data Insights Lead, or Head of Data who combines strong stakeholder management skills with a solid understanding of reporting, analytics, data warehousing, and data architecture.
The Senior Data Manager will:
- Lead and support a multidisciplinary Data Insights team, providing direction, coaching, and prioritisation of workstreams
- Act as the key liaison between the data function and stakeholders across fundraising, finance, operations, and senior leadership teams
- Oversee the delivery of reporting and analytics solutions, ensuring data is used effectively to support decision-making
