We’re hiring for a leading consumer tech company building out a brand-new AI team and they’re looking for a senior AI engineer to help design and scale the systems behind the next wave of Generative AI-powered products.
You’ll be at the heart of a growing AI function, building real systems that support live features used by millions, with plenty of runway to grow into AI specialisation, infrastructure leadership, or both.
What They’re Looking For- Strong software fundamentals – clean code, architecture, testing, performance
- Solid experience in backend/infrastructure engineering, ideally with Python
- Some exposure to AI/ML – through personal projects, online courses, research, or past roles
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with product, platform, and ML teams
- Designing and building LLM- and NLP-based systems from the ground up
- Working on retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, embeddings, and hybrid search
