Are you a Rust Engineer with a passion for developer tooling? Our partners are a well-backed UK/NYC based start-up (£2million) who have developed a Greenfield Rust system that is completely revolutionising operations in the space and aircraft space.
In this Rust Engineer role, you will:
- Prototype and deliver new features in Rust (completely Greenfield development)
- Work as an individual contributor, closely with the CTO, on intricate, highly complex Rust based challenges
- 5-10% frontend work in React/Javascript, creating user interfaces for current and future customers
- Experiment with code and evaluate performance
The key skills, experience and requirements for this Rust Engineer position include:
- Shipping performant code using Rust, must have proven professional experience in Rust (ideally for 3+ years)
- Start-up experience and the ability to be both reactive and proactive
- System design and architecture development
This is a fully remote position in the UK, there will not be an office anytime soon (at least for 3 years). Sponsorship is NOT possible.
