We are looking for an experienced Project Delivery Lead to play a key role in a large-scale business transformation programme, with Salesforce at its core. This is not a purely IT-focused role - the programme will impact people, processes, and ways of working across the organisation. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external delivery partners, owning delivery from a fast-paced discovery phase through to full implementation. This is a hands-on role for someone who actively drives delivery, manages risk early, and ensures outcomes are achieved in a multi-workstream environment. This role requires someone who is up for a challenge and has been in challenging, fast-paced environments. You could secure yourself a long project that could see you work across different workstreams, not just this Salesforce project.
Key Experience Needed
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Delivery Lead on large-scale transformation programmes
- Good understanding of Salesforce implementations and enterprise system landscapes is good but other ERP/CRMs is also good.
- Comfortable engaging in technical discussions around systems, integrations, and automation
- Experience working in Agile / iterative delivery environments
- Strong vendor and third-party management experience
- Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and invoice sign-off
- Confident communicator who proactively escalates risks and issues
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving programmes with multiple workstreams
Key Responsibilities
- Take accountability for delivery of a Salesforce transformation workstream within a wider programme
- Lead a 4-month discovery phase, producing a detailed implementation plan, cost model, and target architecture
- Own delivery through to implementation, ensuring agreed outcomes are met
- Manage delivery partners, ensuring commitments are delivered against plan
- Create and maintain clear project plans, schedules, and dependencies
- Proactively manage risks, issues, and change requests, escalating where required
- Track and manage project budgets, providing transparent financial updates
- Produce and share regular project status and highlight reports
- Work closely with business, IT, and change teams to coordinate delivery activities
- Support a collaborative, delivery-focused culture with minimal bureaucracy
