We're hiring a Founding MLOps & Data Engineer to join a venture-backed deep-tech startup applying machine learning to solve complex real-world problems in a critical global industry.

You'll own the infrastructure, tooling and data pipelines that enable ML models to move from research into production. Working closely with ML researchers and product engineers, you'll build scalable training and inference workflows, improve reproducibility and model governance, and help shape the long-term architecture of the ML platform.

We're looking for:

  • Strong Python engineering skills
  • Experience with production ML workflows, MLOps or data engineering
  • Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, GCP or Azure)
  • Someone who enjoys building from scratch and operating with high autonomy

Bonus points for:

  • Geospatial or scientific computing experience
  • ML platform engineering
  • CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, or model governance experience

We're much more interested in ownership, drive and problem-solving ability than a specific number of years of experience.

Location: King's Cross, London (4 days/week)
