I’m hiring aJunior Test Software Engineerfor an established UK software company building finance and procurement platforms used by major public-sector organisations.
This isn’t a traditional manual testing role. You’ll bewriting code in Java, building automated tests and working across APIs, databases and web applications within a real production engineering environment.
Key focus:
- Build automated tests usingJava & Selenium
- Test APIs usingRest Assured
- Work withSQL, Cucumber, JUnit/TestNG & Git
- Investigate failures and work closely with developers
- Help maintain and improve existing automation frameworks
This would suit someone early in their career with aComputer Science / Software Engineering backgroundwho enjoys coding, problem solving and wants strong hands-on engineering experience.
You don’t need to know every testing framework already — strongJava fundamentals, OOP knowledge and a willingness to learnare much more important.
Onsite in Letchworth, UK
£30K–£35K base
