We are seeking an Enterprise Architect to guide a major transformation programme through complexity and change. This role is about driving business outcomes, not just technology decisions but bringing order to ambiguity, aligning stakeholders, and shaping the enterprise blueprint that underpins successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain the enterprise-level architecture blueprint for a large-scale transformation.
- Align business objectives with technology direction, ensuring outcomes drive decisions.
- Partner with senior stakeholders (up to C-suite) to influence direction and prioritisation.
- Provide clarity and structure across multiple programmes, vendors, and delivery teams.
- Guide specialist architects and suppliers, keeping the enterprise view coherent and consistent.
- Balance strategic thinking with pragmatic delivery in a politically complex environment.
What You'll Bring
- Significant experience as an Enterprise or Domain Architect, ideally with a foundation in Solution Architecture.
- Strong knowledge across business, application, and data architecture (not infrastructure heavy).
- Proven leadership of architecture at programme/enterprise scale within major transformations.
- Track record of delivering measurable business outcomes (cost savings, efficiency, growth).
- Resilience in navigating ambiguous and politically sensitive environments.
- Awareness of key platforms: Microsoft Azure, Oracle ERP, Salesforce (not hands-on SME depth, but strong enough to guide direction).
- Cross-sector exposure valued; utilities or construction experience is advantageous.
