I’m working with a leading charity as they look to appoint a Database Officer to play a key role in the day-to-day running, support, and continuous improvement of their CRM systems. This is a hands-on role at the heart of the organisation’s data operations, supporting colleagues across multiple teams to use CRM data effectively, confidently, and compliantly.

As the Database Officer, you’ll be the first point of contact for data-related requests, imports, selections, triaging tickets, emails, ensuring requests are logged, prioritised, and routed appropriately. You’ll provide first-line support to users, resolving straightforward data queries and escalating more complex issues to Data Stewards, system teams, or the central Data Team as required.

Skills required for the Database Officer are:

  • Experience managing databases and ensuring the integrity of the data
  • Experience working with advanced SQL queries
  • Knowledge of GDPR and compliance requirements
  • Salesforce CRM would be beneficial
  • Charity Sector background would be advantageous
