A nationally recognised membership-based charity is seeking a Head of Technology Operations to provide credible, modern leadership across technology operations, delivery, and enterprise architecture during a period of significant transformation. Sitting just below the executive level, this role is central to stabilising core services while shaping a coherent, future-ready technology landscape.
The role will own day-to-day technology operations alongside responsibility for ensuring the organisation’s technology architecture is fit for purpose, joined-up, and aligned to strategic goals. This includes oversight of core platforms, cloud services, and operational IT, as well as providing architectural direction across digital products, data, and integration. The organisation is looking for someone who understands architecture well enough to set direction, challenge suppliers, and guide teams, without operating as a hands-on architect.
This is a highly visible leadership role, requiring strong stakeholder management and influence. You’ll work closely with service design, delivery, and data colleagues, acting as a bridge between strategy and execution. The successful candidate will be comfortable engaging executive leaders and trustees, telling a clear story about technology decisions, and leading people through change with confidence, pragmatism, and authority.
