I'm currently working with a leading UK charity looking to hire a Data Administrator to support their High Value team with a significant backlog of CRM data administration and data quality work. The role can be worked largely remotely, with more regular London office attendance required during the initial training period.
The role will be very hands-on, working through agreed spreadsheets and manually updating supporter records within a CRM system. You'll be responsible for ensuring information is accurate, consistent and properly linked, covering everything from updating existing records and recording supporter activity through to identifying duplicates and supporting wider data cleansing.
The role would suit a Data Administrator, CRM Administrator or Database Assistant who has experience maintaining records within a CRM or database and is comfortable working through a high volume of data accurately. Previous Blackbaud or fundraising experience would be advantageous but isn’t essential, with full guidance and training provided.
The Data Administrator will:
- Work through a backlog of supporter data, manually updating and maintaining records within the organisation's CRM
- Carry out data cleansing and quality checks, identifying duplicate, missing or incorrectly linked records
- Create and maintain relationships between individual, organisation and supporter records to improve overall data quality
- Work from spreadsheets to track progress, record updates and ensure agreed processes are followed consistently
- Bring previous CRM/database administration experience, strong spreadsheet skills and excellent attention to detail; Blackbaud experience would be advantageous but isn’t essential
