The role is UK based and requires having the right to work in the UK. We do not offer sponsorship.
Home Instead Dundee & South Angus is currently recruiting for Care Assistants for Live in care. Only driver positions are currently available for this position – must have a driving licence and have your own reliable car. Live in care shift patterns include 2 weeks on 2 weeks off.
Responsibilities include:
- Live at the clients home - you have your own personal space where your breaks would be and personal belongings will be kept.
- 10 Hour shift with a 2 hour break.
- Visiting the same clients to allow you to build up a relationship and our client’s have continuity.
- Home Help – Helping with everyday tasks from tidying, laundry, hoovering and meal preparation/cooking.
- Companionship – Ensuring clients enjoy social interactions daily from chatting, playing their favourite board games etc to going on social outing days or accompanying to appointments/shopping.
- Personal care - Supporting clients with every day routines such as showering, dressing, grooming to keep them healthy and independent.
- Medication support – prompting, assisting etc.

Qualifications
You do not need to have any experience or particular qualifications. We are looking for kind and compassionate people like you to join our Home Instead team. Whether you have direct experience in care, personally or professionally, or are just starting out – we offer industry leading training to all of our Care Assistants to help you help others.
