The instore Visual Merchandiser contributes to store sales and KPI targets by modeling brand values to provide Athletes with a unique experience when visiting Under Armour. The Instore Visual Merchandiser will create and execute visual merchandising plans that align with UA brand standards. We expect you to collaborate with the EMEA Retail VM and Marketing teams to ensure that all products are displayed effectively in-store and attractively arranged to drive sales. This role reports to the Store Manager.

Your Impact

  • Actively participate to Seasonal Kick Off to understand the seasonal strategy.
  • Deliver seasonal store planograms and review them with EMEA VM and RM.
  • Lead seasonal floor set and “in season” updates (as per seasonal calendar).
  • Analyze sales performance, conduct weekly “customer rounds” with the store manager, identify visual and commercial opportunities, and plan the work week.
  • Drive sales by obsessing the KPI’s based on store performance, local trends, weather, stock situation.
  • Ensure windows, displays, seasonal graphics and product communication are top notch every day.
  • Deliver seasonal and in season set up photos for feedback.
  • Train the team to VM and RM standards.
  • Keep up to date on current trends of visual merchandising, competition and sport.

Brand Image & Customer Experience

  • Model the UA service culture and customer expectations in the way product should be displayed.
  • Make it easy for consumer.
  • Incorporate product communication into the shopping experience.

Retail Operations

  • Maintain standards covering merchandise and floor sets.
  • Comply with UA policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to Under Armour’s dress code and attendance policies.
  • Fulfill the working hours as scheduled to Under Armour’s attendance policy.
  • Collaborates with teammates to achieve store goals.
  • Accountable for self-development, while seizing growth opportunities to increase performance.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to handle or relocate products up to 25 lbs/12kgs.
  • Able to move about for extended periods of time with short breaks to handle products.
  • Ability to freely access all areas of the store; including the selling floor, stock and register area.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Good numeracy, literacy, listening, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in local language.
  • Proficient in use of computers and other technology.
  • Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • At least 2-3 years working in a sports/apparel & footwear retail environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
