Engineering/Production Manager in Hayle

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and develop the production and engineering teams to achieve operational excellence.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Production Oversight:

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.

• Implement strategies to optimize workflow and reduce downtime.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process enhancements.

• Drive initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.

Quality Assurance:

• Develop and implement quality control procedures to monitor the product build.

• Develop and implement testing procedures for product commissioning.

• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other relevant industry standards.

• Maintain detailed reports on quality control findings and testing outcomes.

Maintenance & Asset Management:

• Develop and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance strategies for vessels, equipment, and facilities.

• Ensure the reliability and safety of tools, machinery, and infrastructure.

Project Management:

• Manage vessel production from planning through to delivery

• Overseeindividual vessel build budgets and the overall departmentalbudget

Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance:

• Ensure all operations comply with HSE legislation, including COSHH regulations.

• Promote a safe working environment and conduct regular safety audits.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with internal departments and external suppliers to align production goals with business objectives.

• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to facilitate seamless operations.

Mentorship and Development

• Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

• Facilitate knowledge sharing and technical expertise with fellow team members.
