About Uncovered

Uncovered is a London based social first creative agency founded in 2017. Social sits at the heart of everything that we do. From strategy to production, our team is fluent in social language with a deep understanding of the online audience. Working with a diverse set of brands to understand their distinct identity and objectives, we apply social-first fundamentals for success: real world, real people, video-first. We create at the speed of social; strategising, ideating, designing, and producing through our team of in-house strategists, creatives, art directors, copywriters, producers, editors, and videographers. We test, learn, and iterate in real time, delivering end-to-end solutions from creative strategy, through to reporting and analytics. Our Uncovered office is a home to learn, grow and make a difference.

The Role

We’re looking for a visionary and hands-on Social First Creative Director to lead our creative output across key accounts. You’ll shape bold, social-first brand worlds and guide the team in delivering culturally relevant, high-performing campaigns from concept to execution. This role blends creative leadership with strategic thinking — perfect for someone who thrives on collaboration, innovation, and elevating brands in the social space. You’ll partner closely with our in-house production and strategy teams, and play a vital role in mentoring and scaling our creative function as we grow. We’re after someone who sets the bar high and brings big ideas to life — from pitch to delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and elevate creative direction across all social-first campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and client goals.
  • Own the creative relationship with clients — building trust, steering feedback, and creating space for bold, collaborative ideas.
  • Oversee ideation and execution of campaign content across retained and project-based clients, with a sharp eye for storytelling, craft and performance.
  • Direct shoots and oversee production, ensuring the creative vision is executed with clarity and impact.
  • Partner with strategy, production and post-production teams to shape and refine deliverables, maintaining creative excellence at every stage.
  • Mentor and develop the creative team, providing feedback, structure and inspiration to foster a high-performing, collaborative culture.
  • Contribute to agency growth, from shaping internal creative processes to supporting new business and pitching.

Skills

  • A standout portfolio that demonstrates creative leadership on social-first, brand-led campaigns — with proven impact across video and digital.
  • A deep understanding of social platforms, audiences, trends and formats — with the ability to evolve creative approaches as the landscape shifts.
  • Strong conceptual thinker, able to sell through big ideas with clarity and confidence.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, with a clear approach to mentoring, team structure, and workflow.
  • Skilled in client presentation and communication, bringing ideas to life with conviction and strategic rationale.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, particularly Slides; Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Passionate about culture, with an instinct for identifying emerging themes, talent, and creative opportunities that move at the speed of social.

Benefits:

  • Hybrid and Flexible working (Monday & Friday work from home)
  • Free Breakfast, Snacks & Drinks
  • Pension Scheme
  • Friday 3pm Finish
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
  • SPILL Therapy Support
  • Monthly Wellness Fund
  • Eye Care Allowance
  • £500 Referral Scheme
