An international law firm is looking for a Junior Business Acceptance Analyst to join its Risk & Compliance team in London.
The Junior Business Acceptance Analyst role would be ideal for a law graduate who has had prior exposure to AML & Conflicts within a law firm environment.
Key Responsibilities for the Junior Business Acceptance Analyst role:
- Assist with new client and matter onboarding processes
- Conduct client due diligence (CDD) and know-your-client (KYC) checks
- Perform conflict of interest searches and escalate potential issues
- Analyse and interpret search results to identify potential risks
- Ensure compliance with AML regulations and internal policies
- Liaise with fee earners and internal stakeholders to gather required information
- Maintain accurate records within onboarding systems
- Support the team with ongoing monitoring and risk assessments
Key Requirements:
- Law degree preferred but not essential
- Previous experience in a risk or compliance role
- Basic understanding of AML, KYC, and conflicts processes
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
