An international law firm is looking for an In House Lawyer to join their London team. The ideal candidate for this role would be an experienced in-house compliance professional, or fee earner with commercial experience looking to make a move in-house.
Key Responsibilities for the In House Lawyer role:
- Advise on and negotiate client terms of engagement, including outside counsel guidelines, master service agreements, RFPs, and tenders.
- Support supplier onboarding and contract negotiations, including reviewing supplier DD and commercial terms.
- Advise on legal tech contracts and innovation initiatives involving third-party tools and platforms.
- Supervise junior members of the in-house team involved in commercial contracting and compliance matters.
- Assist with internal legal training, including induction programs for new joiners.
Qualifications:
- Qualified solicitor with 4+ years PQE.
- Strong experience in commercial contracts.
- Clear communicator, comfortable working with senior stakeholders and explaining legal issues to non-lawyers.
- Proficient with MS Office and document management systems.
