Senior Risk Product Manager in London

Hybrid based in London or Warsaw. As a Senior Risk Product Manager at Uncapped, you will join a team of risk professionals, data scientists and engineers and you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth and success. You will sit at the vital intersection of credit risk, financial engineering, and product innovation to deliver data-driven credit capabilities, such as decisioning engines, state-of-the-art risk models and real-time credit management tools across the entire customer lifecycle.

What will you do:

• Product Risk Leadership: Act as the connector between Data Scientists, Credit Risk Managers and Engineers to turn complex data into production-ready features.
• Risk Strategy & Roadmap: Architect and co-own the risk product vision, prioritize high-impact features and manage the roadmap.
• Data Integration: Identify and integrate new data sources (e.g., banking APIs, marketing spend data, e-commerce platform insights) to improve credit decisioning accuracy.
• Risk Engine Ownership: Lead the strategy and roadmap for Uncapped’s risk engine that includes a decision engine for automated decisions and underwriting tooling for manual decisions, ensuring we can process applications in seconds and hours rather than weeks.
• Monitoring & Recovery: Build products and dashboards that monitor the health of the portfolio in real-time and automate early-warning signals for potential defaults.
• Customer Friction Reduction: Balance the need for deep due diligence with a world-class user experience, ensuring that 'Risk' doesn’t become a bottleneck for 'Growth.'

Who you are: We are looking for someone with 5+ years in Product Management, specifically within Fintech, Lending, or Credit Risk ideally in B2B platforms.

• Commercial Acumen: A deep understanding of how lending businesses make money and how risk impacts the bottom line.
• Technical Literacy: Comfort with SQL and data models. You don’t need to write the code, but you must understand how risk models and APIs work.
• Product Management: You should have a strong understanding of agile methodologies and a proven track record of self-service/automation cross-border projects.
• Experience: In a fast-paced, '0-to-1' startup environment where you are expected to be hands-on and strategic simultaneously.
