Job Purpose

The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for driving OrangeDoor's marketing activity, brand visibility and lead generation efforts. Working closely with the Head of Growth, CEO and wider leadership team, the role will translate business priorities into structured marketing activity across content, campaigns, CRM, website, industry presence and employee advocacy. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on delivery, ensuring marketing activity remains visible, consistent and commercially focused.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy, Planning & Commercial Alignment
    • Translate commercial objectives and growth priorities into clear marketing plans and activity.
    • Develop and maintain a forward-looking marketing calendar, ensuring activity is planned, coordinated and delivered consistently.
    • Partner with the Head of Growth and leadership team to identify opportunities that support brand awareness, pipeline generation and account growth.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and industry developments to inform marketing recommendations.
    • Ensure marketing investment and effort remain aligned to business priorities and measurable outcomes.
  • Content, Campaigns & Brand Visibility
    • Lead the planning, creation and delivery of content across key channels, including LinkedIn, website, email marketing and thought leadership activity.
    • Coordinate campaign activity to ensure a consistent and engaging presence across all marketing touchpoints.
    • Capture stories, insights, client successes and industry trends and translate them into compelling marketing content.
    • Ensure all content reflects OrangeDoor's brand, tone of voice and market positioning.
    • Work proactively with teams across the business to gather content and maintain a regular flow of marketing activity.
    • Support the development of sales materials, credentials, case studies and marketing collateral to strengthen commercial opportunities.
  • CRM, Lead Generation & Growth Marketing
    • Manage and develop marketing activity within the CRM platform, including audience segmentation, nurture campaigns and lead engagement journeys.
    • Support account-based marketing initiatives for target clients and growth opportunities.
    • Work closely with the Growth team to identify opportunities to improve lead generation, prospect engagement and conversion activity.
    • Take ownership of marketing-led campaigns that contribute to pipeline development and business growth.
    • Monitor campaign performance and engagement metrics to improve lead quality and conversion.
    • Maintain data quality and support best-practice CRM usage across marketing initiatives.
  • Website & Digital Marketing
    • Own the ongoing management and development of the OrangeDoor website.
    • Ensure content, case studies, service information and news articles remain current and relevant.
    • Support SEO activity and website optimisation to improve visibility and user experience.
    • Monitor website performance and recommend improvements based on user behaviour and marketing objectives.
    • Manage external suppliers and partners where required to support website and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Industry Presence, Awards & Reputation
    • Identify relevant industry awards, events and speaking opportunities that support OrangeDoor's profile and reputation.
    • Coordinate award submissions, working with stakeholders across the business to gather content and evidence.
    • Support the promotion of agency achievements, client success stories and industry recognition.
    • Help position OrangeDoor as a credible and visible leader within the events and experience sector.
  • Internal Communication & Employee Advocacy
    • Support the development of employee advocacy initiatives that encourage teams to share content and represent the OrangeDoor brand externally.
    • Create and maintain marketing toolkits, templates and brand assets for internal use.
    • Work with leadership to support key internal communications where appropriate.
    • Promote engagement with marketing activity across the wider business.
    • Support the development of marketing capability across the organisation by sharing best practice and guidance.
  • Brand Management & Quality Control
    • Work closely with Design and senior stakeholders to maintain and evolve the OrangeDoor brand.
    • Ensure consistency of messaging, visual identity and quality across all marketing materials.
    • Act as a guardian of the brand, providing guidance and challenge where required.
    • Balance quality, pace and commercial impact when making marketing decisions.
  • Stakeholder Management, Reporting & Performance
    • Act as a trusted marketing partner to senior leaders across the business.
    • Influence and challenge stakeholders to ensure marketing activity remains aligned to strategic priorities.
    • Manage marketing budgets and external supplier relationships, ensuring value for money and return on investment.
    • Monitor and report on marketing performance across campaigns, channels and initiatives.
    • Provide regular insight and recommendations to the leadership team, linking marketing activity to commercial outcomes.
    • Establish simple, scalable processes that improve marketing delivery, accountability and visibility across the business.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years' experience in a marketing role, ideally within a B2B, agency, events or professional services environment.
  • Proven experience developing and delivering marketing campaigns that support brand awareness, lead generation and business growth.
  • Strong experience across content marketing, digital marketing, CRM and email marketing platforms.
  • Experience managing websites, SEO activity and digital marketing performance.
  • Experience developing marketing plans and translating commercial priorities into marketing activity.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working closely with senior leaders and influencing decision-making.
  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience analysing marketing performance and using data to inform recommendations and future activity.
  • Confident using CRM, marketing automation and reporting tools.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of how marketing contributes to pipeline development and revenue growth.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience within an events, experiential, creative or agency environment.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and external suppliers.
  • Exposure to Account-Based Marketing (ABM) approaches.
  • Experience coordinating industry awards, speaking opportunities or thought leadership programmes.
  • Familiarity with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
  • Experience using LinkedIn paid campaigns, Google Ads or other digital advertising platforms.
  • Previous experience managing, mentoring or developing junior team members.
  • Understanding of sales processes and commercial growth strategies.

Additional Information

  • Salary: £60,000 per annum.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with the flexibility of spreading those hours over 4 or 5 days (Wednesdays in the office).
  • Location: Bromley, Greater London (office-based / hybrid).
  • Important Note: Location near the Bromley office is required to support occasional urgent onsite needs outside of and within regular working hours.
