We are seeking a highly skilled Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment and systems across our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, ensuring operational efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Rotating shifts, weekly - but we can be open Days or 2pm - 22.00 - early finish Friday.

We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our busy Maintenance & Engineering department within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work closely with maintenance engineers, production operatives, production engineers and management to maximise productivity and minimise downtime across plant and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to support planned maintenance and maximise equipment uptime.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), shutdown work, and scheduled installations.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Support installation and improvement work on equipment such as presses, robots, conveyors and bespoke machinery.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects to improve safety, quality and productivity.
  • Work safely and compliantly, following regulations, manuals, schematics, blueprints and specifications.
  • Using hand tools, power tools, and electrical/electronic test equipment.
What We're Looking For
  • Essential GCSEs including English, Maths and technical subjects.
  • Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • City & Guilds (or equivalent qualification).
  • Experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Competent with tools and maintenance equipment.
  • Confident using computers and operating systems.
Desirable
  • Knowledge of power presses / forming processes.
  • PLC knowledge and ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
