We are seeking a highly skilled Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment and systems across our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, ensuring operational efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our busy Maintenance & Engineering department within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work closely with maintenance engineers, production operatives, production engineers and management to maximise productivity and minimise downtime across plant and machinery.
Key Responsibilities- Use the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to support planned maintenance and maximise equipment uptime
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), shutdown work, and scheduled installations
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on industrial machinery and equipment
- Support installation and improvement work on equipment such as presses, robots, conveyors and bespoke machinery
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects to improve safety, quality and productivity
- Work safely and compliantly, following regulations, manuals, schematics, blueprints and specifications
- Using hand tools, power tools, and electrical/electronic test equipment
- Essential
- GCSEs including English, Maths and technical subjects
- Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- City & Guilds (or equivalent qualification)
- Experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Competent with tools and maintenance equipment
- Confident using computers and operating systems

- Knowledge of power presses / forming processes
- PLC knowledge and ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults
