This role encompasses oversight of budgets, timelines, vendors, and production logistics, ensuring creative concepts are translated into clear plans and executed to Unboxed standards. In close collaboration with internal teams and clients, the Senior Producer will maintain consistent communication, proactively identify and mitigate risks, and support smooth project delivery.

This role requires a high degree of independent judgment and authority in scheduling, vendor oversight, budget adherence, and real-time decision-making, proactively identifying and resolving operational risks to ensure flawless delivery of all physical production elements. The Senior Producer is expected to anticipate challenges, establish workflows, and uphold production standards while maintaining alignment with creative, technical, and senior stakeholders.

The position requires sustained leadership throughout pre-production, extended load-in, live event days, and load-out. The Senior Producer is accountable for operational continuity, escalation management, and maintaining clear communication across all departments to support a seamless, high-profile event.

What You'll Do:

  • Project Development Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal creative, strategy, and account teams to brainstorm and develop innovative concepts aligned with client goals, brand standards, and budget parameters. Support the development of creative decks, ensuring ideas are clearly articulated, feasible, and aligned with client objectives. Source, evaluate, and recommend vendors, and partners that support both creative ambition and logistical requirements. Translate approved creative concepts into clear, executable production plans.
  • Key Deliverables: Creative input and feasibility assessments during concept development. Written production approaches and high-level execution plans for proposals and pitches. Curated shortlists of vendors and partners with comparative analysis (cost, capabilities, availability, and risk considerations). Preliminary production plans outlining scope, assumptions, constraints, and key milestones.
  • Budget & Timeline Management Responsibilities: Build detailed, line-item budgets leveraging prior experience, industry knowledge, and thorough research. Track all project-related expenses, manage scope changes, and proactively address budget risks to protect project margins. Develop and maintain comprehensive production timelines, identifying dependencies and critical path items. Anticipate potential delays or challenges and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track. Provide regular, clear updates to internal stakeholders and client teams regarding budget status, timelines, and resourcing.
  • Key Deliverables: Detailed working budgets and client-facing budget summaries. Budget reconciliations and variance reports throughout the project lifecycle. Master production timelines, including pre-production, onsite execution, and post-event phases. Change-order documentation reflecting scope or budget adjustments. Weekly (or agreed cadence) status updates covering spend, timing, risks, and next steps.
  • Project Management & Execution Responsibilities: Oversee the full production process from planning through onsite execution and post-project wrap. Coordinate vendors and partners to ensure all production elements are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification. Ensure all production components meet Unboxed standards for quality, safety, creativity, and professionalism. Maintain consistent, proactive communication with internal teams, vendors, and clients. Manage client feedback, translating notes into actionable next steps while safeguarding creative integrity and operational feasibility.
  • Key Deliverables: Vendor contracts, scopes, and production schedules in alignment with project needs. Run of show, production schedules, and onsite staffing plans. Onsite execution oversight and real-time issue resolution. Post-event wrap documentation, including final budgets, vendor close-outs, and key learnings. Confirmation that all agreed-upon project deliverables have been completed to client satisfaction.
  • Collaboration & Standards Responsibilities: Operate as an extension of the Unboxed team, adhering to established processes, communication protocols, and documentation standards. Uphold Unboxed values and represent the brand professionally with clients, venues, and vendors.
  • Key Deliverables: Timely, organized documentation shared via approved Unboxed systems. Professional communication and responsiveness throughout the engagement.
  • Client Leadership & Project Management Responsibilities: Serve as the primary day-to-day client lead, building trusted relationships and ensuring a consistently high level of service throughout the project lifecycle. Lead client communications, meetings, presentations, and status updates, providing strategic guidance and production expertise. Manage client expectations, balancing creative ambition, operational feasibility, budget considerations, and project objectives. Anticipate client needs, identify potential challenges, and proactively develop solutions that protect project success and strengthen client relationships.
