Account Manager in Great Horkesley

Location: Can be based in Farringdon, Ascot OR Essex - Hybrid, with occasional UK travel

We’re recruiting a Contracts & Service Delivery Manager for a growing organisation providing essential services to major utility and infrastructure customers.

This role could suit either:

• A graduate in their second professional role who is ready to take on more responsibility; or
• Someone with experience in contract management, service delivery, commercial operations, account management or performance analysis.

You don’t need to arrive as a fully established contracts expert. What matters is that you’re confident dealing with senior stakeholders, comfortable analysing data and able to turn trends into practical actions.

The role

You’ll help ensure customer contracts are delivering against agreed commercial, operational and service expectations. Working across customer and internal teams, you’ll monitor performance, identify emerging issues and make sure actions are followed through.

Responsibilities will include:

• Building strong relationships with senior customer and internal stakeholders
• Monitoring contract performance against KPIs, service levels and commercial targets
• Analysing data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement
• Producing clear reports and presenting findings to senior stakeholders
• Coordinating actions across operational, commercial and customer service teams
• Supporting contract reviews, renewals, tenders and customer meetings
• Investigating performance issues and helping teams agree practical solutions
• Ensuring commitments, actions and deadlines are properly recorded and delivered
• Identifying opportunities to improve service quality, efficiency and commercial value

• The ability to manage several priorities without losing sight of the detail

Previous experience in utilities, infrastructure or contract management would be helpful but isn’t essential. Applications are equally welcome from ambitious early-career candidates who can demonstrate strong analytical ability, maturity and the confidence to build credible relationships.
