About the Role: As a Trainee Buyer, you'll work closely with experienced buyers and learn the ropes of sourcing, negotiating for ongoing projects. You don't need prior experience in procurement, just transferable skills like attention to detail, strong communication, and a proactive attitude. If you're enthusiastic about building your career, we'll provide the support and training to help you succeed.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting procurement activities by sourcing product information and organising samples
- Helping to gather and compare quotes from suppliers
- Updating procurement documents
- Liaising with internal departments
- Assisting with monthly site audits and stock checks
- Keeping accurate records and supporting invoice checks
- Learning to assess supplier performance and contribute to team meetings
