As a Senior Media Manager within the Marketing Services team, you will play a key role in delivering integrated, multi-channel media campaigns for Visa and its partners, including major banks and fintechs. Working closely with the Media Director, you’ll lead the day-to-day planning, execution and optimisation of campaigns across the UK and selected European markets, ensuring all activity is delivered to a high standard, on time and on budget. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams spanning Strategy, Digital, Investment and Performance, as well as creative and production partners within the “Power of One” model. Acting as a key point of contact for clients, you’ll translate strategic objectives into clear, actionable media plans and confidently manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset are essential, alongside a willingness to take ownership, manage risk and contribute to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day campaign planning, activation and optimisation across multiple channels
  • Translate strategy into clear, actionable media plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Strategy, Digital, Investment, Performance) and creative partners
  • Act as a key client contact, building strong, trusted relationships
  • Manage multiple workstreams with accuracy, attention to detail and strong organisation
  • Take ownership of delivery, proactively managing risks and identifying solutions

You’ll also:

  • Mentor and support a Media Executive, contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team culture
  • Drive continuous improvement in ways of working and campaign performance
  • Ensure strong operational management across forecasting, invoicing and timelines
  • Identify opportunities to optimise campaigns and deliver better business outcomes

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will bring strong media planning fundamentals, a hands‑on delivery mindset and the confidence to take ownership of your work while collaborating closely with others. We are looking for someone who demonstrates:

  • Strong Media Planning & Activation Experience: Solid experience delivering integrated media campaigns across multiple channels, with a good understanding of how channels work together to drive results
  • Agency Experience with Regional or Global Clients: Comfortable working in an agency environment with multiple stakeholders, markets and priorities, particularly within regional or international client structures
  • Delivery & Project Management Strength: Highly organised and detail‑oriented, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, timelines and dependencies effectively
  • Confidence & Accountability: Able to take ownership of day‑to‑day delivery, elevate issues early and contribute constructively to problem‑solving with senior team members
  • Collaborative & Development‑Minded: A strong team player who enjoys supporting others, sharing knowledge and contributing to a positive, high‑performing team culture
  • Digitally Fluent: Experience working with digital platforms such as Paid Search, YouTube, Meta, TikTok or similar, with a desire to continue building expertise
